When using the scheduler, only a single Cron entry is needed on your server. Tasks schedule is defined in the app/Console/Kernel.php file. To help you get started, this is how to setup your CRON.
Create a cron command to run every minute then enter the command;
php /path-to-workice/artisan schedule:run >/dev/null
Replace /path-to-workice/ with your real path in most cpanels it's something similar to /home/username/public_html/path-to-workice
If you have SSH just type the command sudo crontab -e then enter;
* * * * * php /path-to-your-project/artisan schedule:run >/dev/null
In some cases the php version running in command line is not the same with the one workice is running on (web) so change the CRON command to point to the location of your php version that is greater than 7.2

/opt/cpanel/ea-php72/root/usr/bin/php /home/cpanel-username/path-to-workice/artisan schedule:run >/dev/null

Set default php version to PHP 7.2 or PHP 7.3

How to tell if CRON has error

Check for a file named error_log if it's in /path-to-workice/. View the error log (if any) and see the tips below;
I am getting error similar to this;

'ErrorException' with message 'Invalid argument supplied for foreach()' in /home/project/vendor/symfony/console/Input/ArgvInput.php

Solution;

Add -d register_argc_argv=On to your cron command example;

php -d register_argc_argv=On /home/cpanel-username/path-to-workice/artisan schedule:run >/dev/null

I am getting error similar to;

The Process class relies on proc_open, which is not available on your PHP installation.

Solution;

Add -d "disable_functions=" to your CRON command example;

php -d "disable_functions=" /home/cpanel-username/path-to-workice/artisan schedule:run >/dev/null

Getting memory exceeded error?

Solution

php -d memory_limit=128M /home/cpanel-username/path-to-workice/artisan schedule:run >/dev/null

To check whether the queues are being processed by CRON, check your database table fx_jobs if the jobs are being processed correctly, it should be empty (all jobs processed) after sometime (5 minutes).

Using URL for CRONs

Go to Settings > Info and copy the cron via URL link;

https://your-domain.com/cron/schedule/{YOUR CRON KEY}

If you are using a service like https://cron-job.org to schedule cron, enter this URL where they ask for cron url.
